Restorative Yoga (75 minutes)

Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing and nurturing practice designed to calm the nervous system, release stored tension, and promote deep healing. Using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to fully support the body, this class encourages total surrender through gentle, floor-based poses held for extended periods—typically 7 to 10 minutes, and sometimes up to 20. The intention is to create an environment where the body and mind can effortlessly drop into a state of rest and renewal.

Inspired by the teachings of Judith Hanson Lasater, who helped introduce Restorative Yoga to the West through her work with B.K.S. Iyengar, this practice focuses on accessibility, comfort, and profound stillness.

This beginner-friendly class is ideal for anyone seeking stress relief, improved sleep, and emotional balance. Whether you’re recovering from injury, navigating life changes, or simply craving stillness, Restorative Yoga offers a safe and supportive space to rest deeply and restore.

What to Expect:
All floor-based poses supported by props and held for extended periods
• A soothing environment that promotes deep rest and nervous system regulation
• Optional aromatherapy and brow massage (with consent cards provided to respect individual comfort)
• A calm, grounding atmosphere to nurture body, mind, and spirit
